Negligent Security Defense - Pyles v. Weaver
In 2005, Mr. Glas served as a trial counsel for a French Quarter gentleman's club in a negligent security action entitled
Pyles v. Weaver:
No. 2001-15258, Section D, Civil District Court, Parish of Orleans, LA. During the jury trial, Mr. Glas defended the club against the former entertainer's claim that negligent security allowed a patron to throw a rock glass, and cause a traumatic brain injury, cervical injury, and dental injury. During closing argument, plaintiff asked the jury to award more than $1 million, and the jury awarded on $90,000 against the client.
