On March 23, 2020, the Louisiana Department of Revenue issued a press release stating that it would be following the U.S. Treasury Department’s decision to move the federal income tax deadline from April 15 to July 15, 2020, moving the Louisiana state income tax deadline to July 15, 2020.  This automatic extension applies to Louisiana individual, corporation, fiduciary and partnership income tax returns and payments.  The Department of Revenue will not apply any penalties or interests during the 90 day automatic extension.  For more information, please see:  https://revenue.louisiana.gov/NewsAndPublications/NewsReleaseDetails/11484
