Megan Demouy Champagne represents a variety of clients including trucking companies, retail businesses, and insurance companies. She believes that her professionalism and ability to work well with other attorneys has been instrumental in obtaining excellent results for her clients.
Megan is a member of Deutsch Kerrigan’s Civil Litigation Department. She is dedicated to providing her clients with realistic options in order to achieve the best possible result in an efficient and timely manner. Her focus areas include personal injury defense, trucking and commercial transportation, premises liability, and insurance coverage.
Megan is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned her B.A. in political science from Louisiana State University before attending Southern University Law Center. While attending law school, Megan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alex “Brick” Wall at the Baton Rouge City Court.
Prior to joining Deutsch Kerrigan, she practiced law in southern Indiana for four years, in which she focused on several areas of law including civil, criminal, estate, and family law. While in Indiana, Megan and another attorney founded their own law firm through which she learned the importance of the attorney-client relationship while successfully running a business. It was there that she developed an aptitude for advocating zealously on behalf of her clients, and gained the experience that has helped shape the attorney she is today.
