Plaintiffs in this matter obtained a $56 million damage award against Alpha Technical Service, Inc. and others for its liability in contaminating property with NORM (naturally occurring radioactive material) from pipe scale on drilling pipes. They sought coverage against insurers in a declaratory judgment action. The case was successfully resolved by Mr. McReynolds prior to trial.
