On certification to the Supreme Court of Oklahoma, Ms. Burnthorn set precedent obtaining a favorable interpretation of the coverage provisions of the Oklahoma Insurance Guaranty Association Act. The Oklahoma Supreme Court's decision ultimately led to an optimal settlement in favor of Ms. Burnthorn's client.
